This Privacy Policy describes how BOOMSHACKAGALAXY ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use the App on iOS or Android. The App is developed by an independent developer ("the Developer") and is offered completely free of charge. The App contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.
The App does not require an account, real name, email address, phone number, or location to play. Optional leaderboard entries include a chosen nickname, score, game mode, and submission time. A nickname can identify you, so please do not use your real name or contact details. Optional feedback is not linked to your leaderboard nickname or a persistent player or device identifier.
The App stores the following information on your device using local storage. Online multiplayer, optional leaderboard submissions, and optional post-game feedback use the server as described below:
You can clear this data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing the App's data in your device settings.
If you choose to host or join an online co-op battle, the App connects to a multiplayer relay server operated by the Developer. During a multiplayer session, the following data is transmitted in real time and is not stored:
No personal information is transmitted. Sessions and rooms are deleted automatically when the host disconnects or after 30 minutes of inactivity.
The App contains no advertising and no in-app purchases. We do not use any third-party advertising or analytics services, and we do not track you across apps or websites. In-game credits are earned only by playing and have no real-world value.
The App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. The App does not contain features that target children specifically beyond age-appropriate gameplay.
Multiplayer session data is held in server memory for the duration of the session. Optional leaderboard submissions store a chosen nickname, game mode, score, and submission time. Before sending a score, the app explains that your nickname, score, and game mode will be public and asks you to confirm. Cancel sends no score. Remembering a nickname on your device does not authorize future submissions. Stored leaderboard entries and post-game feedback have no automatic deletion schedule; feedback is retained to compare player preferences across updates.
After a played game finishes, you may answer two short questions or choose Skip. A submitted response stores your 1–5 quality rating, one selected improvement category, the submission date/time, the app version, and a random identifier for that game only. This identifier is not reused to identify you or your device across games.
The survey does not ask for or store your name, contact information, location, advertising identifier, device identifier, or free-text comments. We do not add a third-party analytics service or collect device/platform details for the survey. Our hosting infrastructure necessarily processes connection information to deliver requests; connection information is not included in survey response records.
We use this feedback to prioritize game improvements. Before submission, the survey explains which information will be sent and why. Selecting a rating alone sends nothing. Tapping an improvement after reading the notice submits both answers. Public results show aggregate rating and improvement counts only, not individual responses or game identifiers. Skipping before submission sends no answers; you can continue playing without answering. Once submission starts, closing the survey does not undo data already received by the server.
You can decline future feedback and leaderboard submissions using Skip or Cancel. Contact the Developer using the address below about stored leaderboard data or your privacy rights. Because feedback has no name or persistent player identifier, we may be unable to locate a particular response from your name alone. Clearing local app data does not delete entries already submitted to the server.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Merely continuing to play does not authorize optional feedback or leaderboard submissions.
